Australia grants letter patent of invention to dFlow

In March 25th 2021, a letter patent of Invention for the dFlow gate was officially delivered to Digicon S.A., granted by the Australian government. In addition to Australia, the product was also awarded in the United States, Brazil, European Union and Japan. The letter patent is a legal document that guarantees the exclusive use, sale, production and import of a certain technology. In Brazil, the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) granted the patent of invention to Digicon for a system and method of control and monitoring for access in a restricted area on January 26th, 2021. This recognition was a great step for the company, as in addition to protecting the property rights over the product, it attests to the quality and innovation of dFlow.

In 2017, the product was patented in the United States by the US Patent and Trademark Office. Soon after, the European Community also granted the patent to Digicon.

dFlow was developed to improve access control in restricted areas through a unique system that tracks people as they pass through the lane, that changes the traditional paradigm of closed doors, introducing a new “free-flow” concept, which provides greater flow, comfort and safety. It can be used in commercial and government buildings, industries, subways, trains, airports, and others.

dFlow is a revolutionary product that has been modifying the access control experience in the most varied segments, in different parts of the world. More than 15 countries and 4 continents are already using the product. In Brazil, eight of the largest airports (Porto Alegre, Salvador, Fortaleza, São Paulo – Congonhas, Rio de Janeiro – Santos Dumont and Galeão, Florianópolis and Belém do Pará) already use dFlow for passenger boarding control. It is exclusively manufactured by Digicon.

It is also possible to use the gate for air boarding, the dFlow Barcode Boarding Pass (BCBP) allows you to read the barcode on both the physical ticket and the digital version on the smartphone. This differential brings much more agility when passing through the gate, avoiding queues and reducing agglomerations, a very important benefit for the moment we are currently living.

This new invention patent fills Digicon with pride, because in addition to satisfied customers, we now have the seal of yet another country for our product. Undisputed proof of the innovation, quality and safety of dFlow .
